Mr. Jackson has an extensive legal background and a wide-ranging practice area.

Prior to entering the field of civil law, he gained prosecutorial experience at New Orleans’ Criminal District Court. As a civil litigator, Mr. Jackson has extensive practice in the field of employment law representing workers who have experienced wage disputes, retaliation and wrongful termination, as well as employment discrimination and harassment while on the job. Mr. Jackson also has experience litigating cases ranging from personal injury and auto accidents, contract disputes and construction law to highly specialized Federal Employers’ Liability Act work and has also had experience in business litigation and other general litigation matters.

Mr. Jackson obtained his law degree from Loyola School of Law, graduating in the top of his class. During his time at Loyola, he was active in the Loyola Law Clinic and worked closely with the assistant district attorneys at New Orleans’ Criminal District Court. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama.

Mr. Jackson is admitted to the Louisiana Bar and the Alabama Bar. He also provides services as a mediator in the State of Alabama. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Alabama and the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and has practiced law in cases filed in the District of Columbia, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.

Mr. Jackson is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Alabama Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers and the Louisiana Association for Justice. He has been a speaker and continuing education provider for the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans.
