Prior to joining Jackson+Jackson, Mary Bubbett Jackson was an associate at Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann, LLC, where she practiced in the areas of construction, employment, insurance and products liability law. While at Stone Pigman, Ms. Jackson administered claims for a multi-state class action, tried high dollar cases and was heavily involved in Katrina-related litigation.
Ms. Jackson has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of construction, employment and insurance law. Ms. Jackson has expanded her practice to include Elder Law, with an emphasis on estate planning and long-term care asset protection planning. The firm offers these services in Florida, Louisiana and Alabama.
Ms. Jackson graduated summa cum laude from Loyola University School of Law, where she was a member of the Loyola Law Review, the Moot Court National Team and St. Thomas More Inn of Court. She received her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama. She is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar, the Florida State Bar, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana and Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. She is also a licensed notary in Louisiana and Florida.
Ms. Jackson is a member of the Florida State Bar Association, the Escambia-Santa Rosa County Bar Association, the Louisiana State Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association.
